World Cup dreams Arco athletes

ARCO Grant, under the WCDF umbrella, provides financial assistance to U16 athletes with both merit and need. Founded by Olympian River Radamus, ARCO recognizes that grants alone are insufficient for talented athletes to thrive without financial means. Our mission goes beyond financial support, providing athlete, family, and organizational education and mentoring to maximize opportunities for success. River's own experience taught him the importance of forming habits and utilizing local resources to excel in skiing. The ARCO Grant aims to inspire a cultural shift towards efficient resource utilization and seizing all local opportunities. Learn more about our ARCO grant recipients below, and be sure to follow along as they continue to pursue their dreams!

Brody Mitchell

TEAM: Team Palisades Tahoe

HOMETOWN: Tahoe City, CA

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: After having a successful season in 2023 by attending the Whistler Cup, placing very well there, and being named to the ARCO team which was a great honor, I entered the 2024 season with a meniscus injury. One of the highlights of my early season was getting 5th place SL Snow King. While my results in 2024 did not meet the expectations I set for myself after the Whistler Cup, I learned the importance of taking the time needed to heal and get strong to ski my best.  I received two awards from the Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation, recognizing my character, sportsmanship, and dedication to the sport.
