Kyle Negomir- Alpine B

Hi, my name is Kyle Negomir, and this upcoming season will be my first skiing with the US Team, namely the alpine C team. I grew up in Denver skiing part time out of Copper and Loveland until I was about 16, when I started racing full time for Vail Ski and Snowboard Club, where my dad coaches U12s currently. In a few short years, my career had reached goals much quicker than I expected, with U19 and U21 National Championship titles, and currently a #2 world age rank in GS. I am moving to Park City this summer to work full time with the national team and to be able to compete with the best in the world in World Cups and the upcoming Winter Olympic Games.

One of the biggest challenges of my skiing career thus far has been the financial side of the sport, with my parents both living part time in Denver to continue working and supporting my brother and me. Be it through fundraising platforms such as this or local scholarships or money from working construction in the summer, I hope to combine enough money to fully cover my fees for this season on my own. This said, any sort of donation helps, and all contributions towards my Olympic dream are truly appreciated.

Thank you!

What church do you attend? One way or the other, it matters. I raced NCAA downhill etc. at fort lewis college back in the ‘70’s. I find your current status on the team interesting. Remember, when you are 66 years old, you will still be a downhiller, as I am. God bless you. John K. Tuttle
