Story
 

My name is Cailin Apple and I am an alpine ski racer from Northern Vermont. I started racing at the age of 6 at my local mountain of Stowe, and was fortunate to be able to grow up racing and training there, as well as at Sugarbush, and then at Burke, where I attended and graduated from Burke Mountain Academy in the class of 2023. I have goals to ski race at the highest levels, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to join the PG group with Apex2100 this upcoming season in Europe. During the 23/24 season, I was recovering from ACL reconstruction, after I
tore that ligament during slalom training in December of 2022. I feel strong and confident in my recovery, and I am looking forward to the challenge of training and racing in the European arena. I hope to benefit from that exposure of new venues, terrain, and coaches, and subsequently, I would like to return to and be successful on the NorAm circuit, race NCAA as I also continue to strive toward joining the US Ski Team. I am grateful for the support of the World Cup Dreams Foundation in helping to reduce the financial barriers associated with the sport of ski racing, so that I can focus on working toward my goals.
