Chris Delbosco
Chris's story
I have joined the World Cup Dreams Foundation platform to help realize the next chapter of my career. I am returning to represent the US after 15 years on the Canadian Ski Cross team. I am a dual US/Canadian citizen that grew up in Avon, CO racing for Ski and Snowboard Club Vail. In 2007 I was recruited by my father’s country, Canada, to join their newly formed ski cross program. There wasn’t a ski cross pathway in the US and I felt this was my opportunity to chase my dream of World Cup and
Olympic success. It has been an amazing journey and I am grateful for all the experiences and opportunities provided by the Canadian team, but I have always felt that one day I would return home to represent the Stars and Stripes. This road won’t be easy, we still don’t have a program and the few people racing on the World Cup are on their own. My hope is to usher in the next generation of ski cross athletes and put the discipline back on the map in the US. I have the experience, desire, and commitment to make this a reality, but I will need support to compete with bigger teams on the World Cup. Please consider donating if you would like to be a part of this journey, every bit helps! Thank you!
