Grant Eligibility
Our mission is to support the growth and development of the nation’s top winter sports athletes. We offer financial assistance to elite athletes who are unfunded or underfunded. In some cases, teams or small training groups may also apply through WCDF to raise money.
To qualify for a grant, applicants must be able to demonstrate elite-level athlete status—typically close to or on a national team. Athletes who are progressing along this path may also be eligible. Examples of eligible applicants include, but are not limited to:
- National Team members or invitees
- Development Team athletes
- National Development Group members
- Other elite-level athletes based on international or U.S. ranking
- Athletes with top age-group world rankings
Note: Grant applications must be submitted through the appropriate form linked on each specific grant page (below).
