 24/25 ON the rise athletes

The World Cup Dreams Foundation is honored to support the 30 On The Rise grant recipients for the 2024/2025 season. The On The Rise grant will inspire our youngest dreamers, who have demonstrated potential and are at the top of their age class in the nation, exemplifying  the ability to reach the next level of elite racing. The grant money given to these athletes is used to help pay for season expenses and competition. WCDF's goal  in selecting these athletes is to propel them to achieve their World Cup Dream.  Learn more about our On The Rise grant recipients below, and be sure to follow along as they continue to pursue their dreams!

​​GOALS: My goals are to, Win the Nor-Am cup slalom title, top two Nor-Am cup World Cup spot, make NCAA nation championships, win NCAA national championships. Lower my points below 23 in slalom (below WR 100) and lower my gs points into the 20s.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: I won 12 races last season, 4 of them were at the Western Regional Championships in Alaska where I swept all of the races for the men. 7 additional podiums last year in addition to the wins. At NPS at Burke, 2nd in SL and 5th in GS for a 5th place overall and  qualified for my first international race at Alpe Cimbra.

GOALS: My ski racing goals for next year are to get my SL and GS below 100, lower my speed points as much as possible, make FIS nationals, and place in the top 10 for U18 tech events in the Western Region races.

I achieved 2 top ten NJC finishes (5th and 6th) and 3 top 30 NAC (20th, 23rd, 27th) finishes this past season. Due to injury I had a shortened race season, but I was able to achieve improvement in my FIS point profile. I finished the year with world rank for YOB 2006 of 9th in SL and 16th in GS.

GOALS: This season, my goals are to make the US D-team, get my SL and GS points under 30, and qualify for World Junior Championships. I'm skiing for the University of Denver next year, so my goals are to perform well in college races and qualify for NCAAs.

  • Last season, I was out for essentially the whole season due to injury. 2023 U18 overall NC, U18 slalom and downhill NC, placed 2nd in SG and 4th in GS also at championships. Ranked 5th overall in Downhill for the 2022-2023 Noram.  I am  on the U.S. Ski Team National Development group.

GOALS: My goals for this upcoming season are to qualify for the NCAA Championship, lower my points in each discipline, place top 5 in a speed Noram, and top 15 in a tech Noram.

GOALS: I hope to just race in the Nor-Am circuit next year. My goal is to have both my world ranking to drop and points, however, a main focus of mine is to just be top 20 in 2 overall Nor-Am standings (at least one being a technical event) so I qualify for the U.S. ski team.

GOALSMy competitive goal for this upcoming competition season is to be ranked top three in giant slalom, top ten in slalom, and top 15 in speed events all for my age. My goal in competition is to win a national event. My goal for my point is to drop both my points into the mid to low 40s.
